Now that airfares are so competitive, the Alps , cost less than a ski trip to Colorado for example, and the skiing is just so much better. We can offer skiing in Arolla as low as $125* a night including room with bath, breakfast and dinner, and lift ticket included (Double occupancy). Check with us for costs in other areas.

Each of the destinations is wonderful but I must admit one of my favorites is Verbier. It offers tremendous diversity and wonderful snow.

Now what reasons are there for choosing the Alps compared to the Rockies ?

1. The mountain trails are longer-up to 8 miles.
2. The vertical drop is greater- over 7000 feet
3. The first class hotels, meals, and service are superior. The Swiss are the greatest hoteliers.
4. The adventure of being in a foreign country is unique. It cannot be equaled.
5. The snow is very dependable, with some areas offering 12 months of skiing
6. Skiing downhill was invented in the Alps . So they understand skiers
7. The price for your trip, all-inclusive, should be less than in the US .
8. Almost no lift lines. The most modern lift and cog railway facilities.
9. Zermatt , Verbier, and Wengen are car free. Arolla is a small mountain village at the end of a mountain road so there are minimal cars.
